Honored at BritWeek Miami: TheGenieLab’s Moment of Recognition

We were thrilled to be recognized last week at BritWeek Miami 2015, a milestone that energizes our whole team at TheGenieLab. For those new to the event, BritWeek has run since 2007, originating in California, and expanded to Miami in 2013. Dedicated to creativity and innovation, it naturally aligns with how we approach problem‐solving and digital craftsmanship.

BritWeek brings together British and local communities across business, technology, film, and the arts, creating a platform where collaboration and fresh thinking can flourish. That context makes recognition especially meaningful, because it highlights work that pushes creative boundaries while building real-world outcomes.

Our CEO, Fredy Dellis, who has worked at the highest levels of international business, attended an event close to our heart: “The Best of Wales,” hosted by HM British Consul‐General Miami Dave Prodger, where guests enjoyed some of Wales’s finest food and drink. The evening also showcased “Set Fire to the Stars,” a film about Dylan Thomas’s 1950s trip to the United States, sparking discussion about how a growing Welsh film industry can inspire tourism and raise the country’s international profile. As a company with Welsh origins, seeing Wales highlighted on a global stage made us proud.

During the festivities, Christopher Gardiner, Welsh Senior Representative of the Consulate‐General in Miami, praised TheGenieLab for our expansion into the US market with a Miami presence. That acknowledgment felt like validation of our momentum, the kind that can lead to new introductions, potential partnerships, and greater visibility for our work.

Being honored at BritWeek Miami 2015 marks a milestone for TheGenieLab, underscoring our Welsh cultural roots, innovative spirit, and expansion into the US through Miami. This recognition highlights how collaboration across communities fuels creativity and real business outcomes. Join us on the journey—reach out to explore partnerships and new ideas we’re passionate about building together, today and beyond.
