Facebook’s new ‘Search FYI’, can marketers ignore it?

Facebook has decided it’s time to take on Google by adding search to it’s feature set with ‘Search FYI‘. Up until now marketers have only been able to target users based on psychographics via sidebar ads and sponsored posts. Since Facebook started charging businesses to reach their fans either businesses have embraced it or run a mile to the likes of Google Adwords and instagram.
